While we deliver a deep clean with every visit, we don’t move large, heavy furniture. Cleaning around and under accessible items is part of our service, but furniture or items that require heavy lifting need to be moved before we arrive.
What We Do Instead:
We ensure all accessible areas are thoroughly cleaned, including under and around furniture that is safe to move. Want a more detailed clean in hard-to-reach areas? Move your furniture ahead of time, and we’ll take care of the rest.
2. CLEANING UP AFTER MAJOR RENOVATIONS
Our deep cleaning service tackles even the toughest grime, but post-construction or renovation debris requires specialized attention. Dust, drywall particles, and other materials from renovations can require more extensive tools and time than a standard cleaning allows.
What We Do Instead:
We offer a post-renovation cleanup service designed to handle these bigger messes. This includes detailed dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of floors and surfaces to remove all traces of renovation dust and debris.
3. CLEANING WINDOWS OR GUTTERS
Our deep cleaning services extend to all accessible areas within your home, but window and gutter cleaning are specialized services we don’t offer. This includes both interior and exterior windows, as our insurance doesn’t cover work at heights or outdoors. We focus on making your space shine from top to bottom, but leave the full-service window cleaning (including tracks and screens) to specialists.
What We Do Instead:
We include glass doors, like patio and front doors, as well as window frames and sills as part of our regular service. 4. APPLIANCE REPAIRS OR DEEP MAINTENANCE
At Absolutely Spotless Cleaning, we clean the exterior (and interior upon request) of your appliances, but we don’t handle repairs or deep mechanical maintenance. Cleaning behind large appliances is also outside our standard deep clean unless it has been agreed upon as an add-on service.
What We Do Instead:
We offer a thorough cleaning of appliance exteriors and stovetops, as well as inside fridges or ovens, as an add-on. If you need behind-appliance cleaning, simply let us know you’d like the add-on service and move the appliance ahead of time - we’ll take care of the rest!
5. PERSONAL ORGANIZING OR DECLUTTERING
While our deep cleans make your home sparkle, personal organizing or decluttering falls outside our expertise. We won’t rearrange closets or declutter personal items during our cleaning visits.

We ensure all accessible surfaces, floors, and counters are thoroughly cleaned. If you’re looking to tackle a larger organizing project, we recommend decluttering and organizing before our team arrives to maximize your cleaning experience. 6. HANDLING BIOHAZARDS OR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
For safety reasons, cleaning services typically do not handle biohazards such as mould, asbestos, or bodily fluids. These tasks require special training and protective equipment, which falls outside the scope of standard home cleaning.
